The end of the year is filled with magical moments for many—holiday traditions, the first snow, and time with loved ones. But as some gather to celebrate, many of our Central Ohio neighbors face something very different—homelessness, hunger, loneliness, and fear about the future.
At Community Housing Network, we help individuals who have experienced homelessness, mental illness, substance use disorder, and other trauma-related challenges find safe, stable housing and the support they need to rebuild their lives. Right now, state and federal budget cuts threaten essential housing programs, putting more people at risk—especially seniors like Community Housing Network residents Donald and Patricia.
“I had some difficult days. There were times when I wanted to throw in the towel.”
-Donald, CHN Resident
After years of uncertainty, Donald finally found a safe, supportive home at CHN. Patricia, who moved into her first home at age 55, now has a foundation to build her future.
“Because of Community Housing Network, my life has turned around so much.”
-Patricia, CHN Resident
