  • When do I pay my rent and how?

Rent is due by the first of every month. Currently, Community Housing Network is able to accept payment via check or money order only. You may submit your rent payment by:
    1. Giving it directly to property management
    2. Mailing it to Community Housing Network at 1680 Watermark Drive, Columbus, OH 43215
    3. Delivering it to Community Housing Network at 1680 Watermark Drive, Columbus, OH 43215. Payments may be handed to front desk staff during lobby hours or left in the secure drop box located next to the front door any time.

*To ensure accurate and timely rent processing, be sure your name and address (including unit number) are legible on your check or money order.

  • Do I have the same rights and responsibilities as residents in other apartment buildings?

Yes, by signing a lease, CHN residents have all the same rights and responsibilities as any tenant who signs a lease and those established by the Ohio Landlord Tenant Law and the Fair Housing Act.

  • Can I move to another CHN apartment?

It depends on housing program regulations. If you are interested in moving, please contact your property manager.

  • Can I have a pet?

Pets are permitted only with reasonable accommodation documentation. Please contact your property manager for more information.

  • What do I do if I need help paying rent, utilities or other assistance?

If you are struggling to pay rent or utilities due to unexpected circumstances, please notify your property manager and/or service coordinator as soon as possible. They can work with you to identify resources and can assist you in applying for assistance when appropriate.
