Just a few years ago, Lindsay was starting over with only a laundry basket of belongings and a determination to change her life.
After years of struggling with alcohol and experiencing significant loss, she entered recovery, completed treatment, and began rebuilding with support from a case worker and Community Housing Network’s Mainstream program.
With stable housing and encouragement from her Supportive Housing Coordinator, Lindsay found her footing—attending daily recovery meetings, rebuilding relationships with family, and creating a new path forward. She shared that she is thankful that Jesus has put the right people in her path to direct her into a new life.
In 2022, she got married, welcomed her son, and began working part-time. Today, she serves in recovery ministry, helping others navigate their own journeys.
Now, Lindsay has reached a milestone she once thought impossible: she recently purchased her first home, where she lives with her husband, son, and their new kitten.
“All I wanted was to raise my son in a home together with my husband."
Because of support at every step along the way, Lindsay is doing just that—building a stable, joyful future for her family.
